Beehive

High Style.

Hair,make-up, nails, accessories, it all works together.Photographed by Steven Meisel for Italian Vogue.
The look of now. High Style at its best... Lip color that stands out next to porcelain skin. Pale pink nail lacquer. Eyelids that are lined and framed with the full arched brow.  To top it all off the hair makes this whole look a stand out.  Its all about proportion. This hair looks great on a slim silhouette. Rings and earrings dress it up.
To update your look: Play around with lip colors. Pink makes your teeth look whiter. Lighter colors make you look younger and fresher.
Give tired eyes a lift with some false eyelashes. They are wonderful. Ardell makes great lashes, you can buy them at the drug store.
Have your nail tech try a  coral, red or orange shade on your nails.
Long hair can be swept up and pinned. Short hair could add a hairpiece..Beautiful jewelry can be found at heathlondon.com.

Laini Reeves

Trendsetter.
Celebrities on the Red Carpet and models in the magazine wear looks that start trends. The real trendsetters are the hairdressers who design the looks. One of the most creative and style setting artists today is Laini Reeves. Her body of work is so impressive, I love what she does. Her sense of style is so fashion forward you can see why women are influenced by her. Amy Adams hair was stunning at The Golden Globes. The fingers waves were old school new school modern and sophisticated. The look was Hollywood Glamour at its best.  I am looking forward to meeting her and writing about her for my column in The Desert Star Weekly. I am also anticipating the look she will come up with for the Academy Awards.
