THE BOB HAIRCUT

THE BOB IS BACK

Invented in Paris in 1909 by French Hairdresser Antoine, the bob haircut has been worn by influential women ever since.
Classic, geometric, or layered the bob can take on many shapes.
Wondering if the bob is right for you? The truth is the bob is great for many different hair types, face shapes, and body types. A bob looks great in a suit, sexy in an evening dress, and sporty in sweats. Even curly hair loves the structure of the bob.
Katie Holmes and Sienna Miller have made it chic again. Susannah Constantine always has aversion of the bob. Long or short it can become your best friend.
It can add length or width to your face, neck or shoulders. It can hide an aging neck or frame your jawline.
Creating a flattering bob lies in the cutting technique and in using the right hair products. Fine, thin and limp hair can become thicker. Unruly, wavy hair can be set free. Hair can be cut the same length all over the head and explode with volume. Some gentle long layers will movement and bounce. It can be styled to give you height or flat as a board. Whatever it does, it is wonderful.
